About Mooij Forwarding & Logistics B.V.

In 1986, Nico Mooij, who gave the company its name, started his own business as a one-man driver. Since then, Mooij Forwarding & Logistics B.V. has been active and specialised in transportation to and from Eastern Europe. Today, lorries travel to many destinations throughout Europe and the company has expanded, at first with a branch in Poland (1990) and then with a third branch in Berlin. With these three branches, we have the ideal triangle for road transport throughout Europe. For all types of transport: groupage (general cargo), double stack, full truck loads, as well as transport under controlled conditions.

We want to provide our customers with consistent and reliable quality. The long history of our ISO-certified transport company means that we have sufficient knowledge and experience in the field. All road transports and storage meet our customers’ requirements, wishes and expectations. Goods are picked up and delivered as agreed. Arrangements are always complied with! A fast and flexible response to your request is crucial. Sometimes this requires a creative solution to transport issues.

Sound management, a large fleet and long-term relationships with our customers and partners guarantee our continuity. Your goods are handled with care and commitment by our experienced staff. Our employees and drivers are well trained and receive appropriate instruction. This ensures that we know how to handle your goods properly and that shortages and damage are reduced to a minimum.

About us

Nico Mooij talks with passion and care about the founding and development of his transport company.

Entrepreneurial blood has flowed in Nico's veins for a long time. In July 1986, he bought a tractor unit and was approved to transport goods for the US Army. He drove around between Rotterdam and the whole of Germany on a daily basis. Nico was soon remarkably busy and bought a second truck. At the end of 1987, he set off for Poland for the first time. Fleet

We have contributed to sustainable transport by developing an ingenious double stacking system.

Our fleet consists of 87 lorries and 117 semi-trailers. In addition, we have around 45 subcontractors. The optimal use of loading space through the use of "double stacking" in our mega-trailers contributes to the sustainable transport of your cargo. In this way, we reduce the number of shipments required, and our customer saves on costs. This is the best logistical solution for your transport assignments. We conduct transports for the automotive sector, but we will also be your partner for temperature-sensitive products, as we have temperature-controlled trailers at our disposal.
